Reading the Bible with Your Preschooler ~ Week Ten ~ Jonah

I'm sure you are all in full gear with Christmas, but if you're sticking with us for our reading plan, this week is about Jonah!

We have the Veggie Tales Jonah movie, which would be a fun addition to this week's story.  Also, Pinterest has a lot of ideas - go here for inspiration.



This week wraps up our study on the Old Testament.  Next week we turn our focus to Jesus's birth!!

Hi everyone!  This week we're covering two great stories:

The Fiery Furnace (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego) - Daniel 3

Daniel and the Lions' Den - Daniel 6

Only one more week to go until we begin reading about Jesus's birth!

Think About Such Things {Philippians 4:8 Printable}

I love this verse from Philippians 4:8:

"Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things."

Would you like to frame this, prop on your desk, or hang on the fridge?

Reading the Bible with Your Preschooler ~ Week Seven ~ The Ten Commandments

We're up to Week 7 of our plan to read stories of the Bible with our little ones.  This week we've been learning about the Ten Commandments.

Songs for Saplings has a great Questions with Answers CD series.  Volume 4 goes along with the Ten Commandments and would be a wonderful resource for your family.  Go here to download a digital album or buy the CD.  You can even listen to the first 3 songs for free.
